All things were created through Him and for Him

Christ or Crazy?

Someone once said:

This was the only way …

I thought this was ridiculous, stupid and even humorous, because I could have sworn, in just a flash of a moment I could think up of one hundred and one other ways, that in my opinion and according to my understanding were all, a lot more reasonable, probable and convincing .

Mmm… Now I’m certain, convinced and absolutely sure that, that was the only way. It wasn’t my way, but it definitely was the only possible way. There always was only one way, there is only one way, and there always will be only one way.

And that one way has nothing to do with you or me. It has nothing to do with our decisions or choices. That one way is not a circumstance or a situation. That one way is a Man. That one way is Jesus Christ. There never was and never will be another way.

Everything was always for Him. And nothing exists outside of Him. Every glance, tear and every touch, every betrayal and every scar, every loss and every gain was for Him and in Him.

“For by Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.” Colossians 1: 16,17

I’m not talking about your “Christian” choices and your “Christian” moments, “Christian” t-shirts and “Christian” hairstyles. I’m talking about absolutely every moment and second of your entire life and I really could care les if you believe that Jesus Christ is Lord or not. I don’t care if you are Christian, Muslim, atheist or agnostic. I don’t care if you worship cows, sex, drugs or your mirror. You are living for Him. The reason you breathe is Him.

There is only One way, and that One way IS Jesus Christ.

Everything that ever happened in your life did not happen for you or because of you, everything that happened in your life happened because Jesus is the only way. And there is no way outside of Him.

Every tear that you cried was for Him. Every scar that you wear is for Him. Every joyful moment was for Him. Every heartache, every touch, every encounter was because of Him. He was the reason you were born where and when you were born. He is the author of your emotions, fears and dreams.

Jesus Christ is not just “a way”, Jesus Christ is the ONLY possible way.

If you are sitting there heartbroken and if you see anything in your pain but Jesus Christ, my friend, you are delusional. If you have lost a loved one and your heart is torn to pieces, and if you see anything in every single piece but Jesus Christ, my friend, you are delusional. If you are sick or have been diagnosed with cancer and if you see anything in your sickness or cancer aside from Jesus Christ, my friend, you are delusional. If your house is in foreclosure and you don’t have the means to feed your children, and you see anything in the hungry faces of your children than Jesus Christ, my dear, you are delusional. If the person dearest to you, walks away leaving you in a high pile of memories, and while sorting through long chains of letters and unspoken dreams you remember anything but Jesus Christ, my friend, you are crazy.

If you gaze into the eyes of your beloved and you see anything other than the Grace of God, my friend, you are crazy. If you cradle your firstborn child in your arms and you cradle anything but the Grace of God, my friend, you are delusional. If you break bread with your family and you break anything other than the Grace of God, my friend, you are crazy.

The truth is your past doesn’t determine what you are now, it doesn’t determine what you will be in the future. It is Jesus Christ who determines both, your past and your future. He determines everything and in Him all things hold together. It is all for Him, because of Him.

It doesn’t matter how hard your life seems, how deep the scars seem to run…
Remember, this is the only way. There is only one way. Jesus Christ.

Close your eyes and think about your life, every aspect of it. Let your pain come alive, let it be, feel it, if you feel anything in it but Jesus Christ, my friend, you are crazy. Think of all your accomplishments, every moment that brings you joy, and if you see anything but Jesus Christ, my friend, you’re hallucinating. He is the reason for everything. Absolutely everything. He is in your every breath, your every thought, your every word, your every step. He is the way, and there is no other way.

Do you see Christ in everything, or are you just a crazy?

Sstop worrying, all that you see, hear, know, feel and think outside of Jesus Christ is not real. Every tear that you don’t see Him in, every laughter you don’t hear Him in, every hug you don’t feel Him in, every kiss that you don’t know Him in, every heart ache that you don’t ache for Him, every memory that you don’t remember Him in, is only your imagination… silly imagination.

I promise.

There is only One way in life: Jesus Christ.
If you see or hear anything but Christ in any circumstance, occurrence, emotion, feeling, heartbreak, joy, loss or gain, be certain my friend, you are just crazy and delusional.

Take some time, get over yourself and realize that Jesus Christ is the Only way.
All that happened, happens, and will happen is because Jesus is the only way, and there is no other.

And all things hold together in Him.

“For by Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.” Colossians 1: 16,17

“It is not for your sake that I will act, declares the Lord God; Let that be known to you.”
Ezekiel 36:32

Remember, your life actually has nothing to do with you. You are not your own. 😉

Halleluiah!
